Sony White Paper Updates: X-OCN and Live Production Color Matching

Recently, Sony has published two white papers, an update to the X-OCN codec documentation and a guide to color matching for Live Production.
X-OCN White Paper V3.0
X-OCN, or eXtended tonal range Original Camera Negative, is Sony's original compressed RAW format, which delivers 16-bit of linear data that translates into stunning detail in skin tones, shadows, and highlights.
With the release of the Sony FX5, the X-OCN White Paper Version 3.0 has been updated to cover the new X-OCN C1 and X-OCN C2, which offer a more compact file size for low-budget applications such as Web Advertising, promotional video, or Independent Film.
Color Matching Guide for Live Production
As the live production industry continues to embrace cinematic storytelling,
there has been increased demand for cameras that deliver a more cinematic look in live broadcasts.
To meet these evolving needs of production crews capturing live events, this brand-new guide describes efficient methods for achieving consistent color matching for live production environments.
This document marks out efficient methods for achieving consistent color matching,
with a particular focus on mixed operation of Live System (HDC) cameras and Cinema Line cameras, as well as workflows for adjusting the color of Cinema Line cameras to match the color of Live System (HDC) cameras used as the reference.
