Sony FX2 Field Test

By: SonyCine Team

Expedition Studios went to New Mexico to test the new Sony FX2’s cinematic video and high resolution still capabilities. To test the camera, they turned to Vernon Kee, who runs Rezroads Rescue: a foster facility for stray dogs and cats on the Navajo Nation in Shiprock, New Mexico. The articulating eye piece proved to be perfect for shooting in the bright New Mexico sun, while the camera’s dual functionality for video and stills was up to the task of shooting sun drenched puppies and stunning New Mexico night sky.
