Behind The Look: Amy Vincent, ASC Explains The Creative Journey of “Song Sung Blue”

By: SonyCine Team

A visual and lyrical spectacle, Song Sung Blue brought together longtime collaborators Amy Vincent, ASC, and director Craig Brewer for their fourth movie, exploring the real-life story of Mike and Claire Sardina and their Neil Diamond tribute band, Thunder and Lightning.

To capture the entire film on location with a 1990’s look, Vincent leaned on the Sony VENICE 2 to reproduce tungsten-based theatrical lighting, catch intimate moments in real-world locations, and blend the lines between musical and biopic.
